The Arts Alliance of the White Mountains (AAWM) was basically homeless for 14 years.  Formed in 1999 for the purpose of promoting a strong year-round interest in and support for the visual, performing and media arts in the White Mountains. We had space at the Senior Center in Show Low and displayed in shows at various locations on the mountain.

We opened the gallery at the Center for the Arts in June 2013. The building is a long-term lease from Navajo County and we couldn’t be happier.

The Center for the Arts houses the artwork of White Mountain Artists. At any time there is approximately 40 artists with their work at the Center. Art is changed out by our Artists regularly so there’s always something new to see.
