Purchase Terms & Conditions
The following Purchase Terms and Conditions define the conditions under which you make a purchase on the website or directly from the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce (“the chamber”). If you have any questions about the information on this page, please contact us by email at info@pinetoplakesidechamber.com or by phone at (928) 367-4290.
If you have made a purchase on our site, you agreed to these terms and conditions by checking a box linked to this page.
Currency
All prices on the chamber website are stated in U.S. dollars.
Payment Methods
The chamber accepts several methods of payment to accommodate your needs; these include most major credit cards, check, cash, and ACH.
Tickets
Each ticket you purchase is a license to attend a particular event, and is subject to the additional terms set forth on that ticket, as well as any applicable terms the venue may impose. Tickets to events may have other restrictions, such as what types of items can be carried into the venue, whether or not pets are permitted, whether or not children are permitted, whether or not on-site parking will be available, and other rules under which you must comply. If you have questions about a particular event, email director@pinetoplakesidechamber.com or phone (928) 367-4290. As a general guideline, but not always the case, pets are not permitted at events other than the 4th of July Mutt Strutt and children are not permitted at events in which alcohol is the primary focus.
Pricing and Availability of Tickets
The chamber sells tickets on behalf of the chamber, and in some cases, on behalf of other organizations in the White Mountain region. Tickets for popular events may sell out quickly, and in this case, we cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the gate.
Amount of Tickets Per Customer
When purchasing tickets from the chamber, we seldom limit you to a specified number of tickets for each event, though we reserve the right to do so.
Canceled and Postponed Events
Occasionally, events are canceled or postponed. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of refund or exchange procedures for that event. If you purchase a ticket from the chamber, and a refund is issued, then the chamber will most likely give you a refund by issuing a credit to the credit card you used to purchase that ticket or by mailing a paper check to the address you provided during the purchase process.
If the chamber issues you a refund for a ticket, it will issue a refund of the ticket’s face value paid (or, if a discounted ticket, then the refund will be issued for the discounted ticket price paid). In no event will delivery charges or any other fees or amounts be refunded. The chamber will not be liable for travel or any other expenses you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled or postponed event.
If an event is canceled, please contact the chamber by email at info@pinetoplakesidechamber.com or by phone at (928) 367-4290 for information on receiving a refund. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the chamber may set refund limitations and you must contact the chamber for exact instructions.
Fees
Tickets, memberships, and other products purchased on the chamber’s website, or directly from the chamber, are subject additional fees, such as credit-card processing fees. These fees are included in the price shown. Shipping options and the fees associated with those options will be shown in your shopping cart. In the event a refund is issued, fees, whether included in the price or shown separately, are not refundable.
Order Confirmation
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with the chamber whether or not your order has been placed. You may do so by email at info@pinetoplakesidechamber.com or by phone at (928) 367-4290. If the purchase process has failed, it is unlikely the chamber will know of the issue unless you notify us.
Refunds and Exchanges
All purchases on the chamber’s website are final. No refunds will be issued, except as stated here.
Tickets
Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event and ticket options. The chamber does not provide exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased or for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets. You agree you will not dispute or otherwise seek a chargeback from the company whose credit card you used to purchase tickets. Should you do so, your tickets will be canceled, and the chamber may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honor pending and future ticket purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made. Additionally, the chamber may prohibit all persons in whose name the credit card accounts exist and any person who accesses any associated online account or credit card or who otherwise breaches this provision from purchasing future tickets from the chamber.
The chamber permits you to resell your ticket at face value or less, should you choose not to attend the event for any reason.
Billing Information Verification
Online orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that will cause an order to be canceled. In these cases, please verify your billing address with your bank and/or credit card issuing company before making another purchase attempt.
Delivery Options for Tickets or Other Products
In most cases, you have the option of choosing return-receipt-requested USPS mail delivery, pick up at the chamber, or, in the case of tickets, will-call at the event. The chamber is not responsible for tickets lost if mailed, however, if the chamber has not received the return receipt before the event start, we will issue a replacement ticket(s).
Pricing and Other Errors
Products & Membership Dues
If the amount you pay for a product is incorrect, regardless of whether this is because of an error in a price posted on the website or otherwise communicated to you, the sale will be voided and the chamber will refund to you the amount you paid. You will have the option to place a new order. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction of the website.
Tickets
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect, regardless of whether this is because of an error in a price posted on the website or otherwise communicated to you, or if you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or advance-sale date, or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then the chamber will cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount you paid. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction of the website.
Limitation of Liability at Events
You assume all risks incidental to an event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during, or after performance, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against the chamber, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees, or agents on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor(s).
License; Ejection and Cancelation; No Redemption Value
The chamber reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission, or eject, any person whose conduct the chamber’s (or the venue’s) management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with the chamber’s rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket’s face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
Recording, Transmission, and Exhibition
When you attend an event for which you have purchased a ticket, you agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to the chamber and its agents to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
You Are Subject to Search at Events
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, bundles, and containers.
Commercial Purposes of Tickets
A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by the chamber, provided that even if such consent is obtained, any use of the chamber’s trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to the chamber’s written consent.
