Blue Ridge Unified School District is located in Southern Navajo County. The Pinetop-Lakeside community is surrounded by the natural beauty of the White Mountains, the Apache/Sitgreaves National Forest and the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. The town has a population of approximately 4,000 full time residents but expands to about 30,000 in the summer months.
With an elevation of 7,200 feet, the community motto is "Celebrate the Seasons." Temperatures range from the 90's during the summer to the teens during the winter. The winter snowfall and cool summer rains attract visitors from the hotter desert parts of the state. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities such as snow skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and photography. A winter sports complex, Sunrise Ski Resort, located 30 miles east of Pinetop-Lakeside on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, attracts skiers from around the southwest as well as internationally with its well developed slopes and facilities.
The Pinetop-Lakeside community is truly an outstanding place to work, live and raise a family.

Our
Mission
Our Mission is to
educate each child academically, physically, socially, and
spiritually in a Catholic context. We seek to instill
moral integrity within each child. Working together as
a cooperative community, each child will be prepared for
secondary and higher education via an environment that
fosters love and respect for God and others.
Our
Vision
To create an independent PK-8th grade Catholic school
that emphasizes excellence. Currently PK-4th grade, we are
committed to adding a grade level per year, with 5th grade
targeted for 20010-2011.
To focus on teaching strong fundamental skills.
To establish a core curriculum which also teaches
children how to learn.
To provide a safe learning environment that will
nurture the holistic growth of all students via a
Catholic-values oriented setting.
To develop students so that they will go naturally into the
service of helping others.
To work as a community in our shared objective to provide a
Christ-centered education for our students such that they
may develop their individual relationships with God while
growing toward their fullest, God-given potential.
