You'll come away with some basic templates for putting wine and food together in your kitchen. We'll explore how they interact with each other and the techniques for a wine reduction and its various stages from stock to demi glace. Some of the dishes you'll prepare are, Flat Bread with Marsala Wine, Fig Preserves, Goat Cheese & Arugula, a Roasted Sirloin of Beef with a Red-Wine & Brandy Chasseur Sauce, and a Grilled Polenta Cake with Cherry-Cassis Sauce.
